Apple’s iPhone SE in Reality Costs Just Rs 10,700


Recent research from IHS revealed, the manufacturing cost of Apple iPhone SE Rs 10,700. ($ 160)Research suggests the US version of an entry-level iPhone SE (16GB) to $160.00 when manufacturing costs are added.


When sold in US retail market the iPhone Se 16GB model is INR 26500. ($ 399) that really double the cost.


The same product when it comes to India, the entry level iPhone SE is priced at Rs 39,000 and the 64GB version will be available for Rs 49,000.


That’s is a whooping four times the cost of making an iPhone SE. Although the Price doesn’t include costs of software research, R&D, marketing, distribution and other taxes and charges. But it will still keep the profits high for Apple.





Apple iPhone SE has a 4-inch Retina Display with 12-megapixel iSight rear camera with support for Live Photos and 4K video support and 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera with Retina Flash. It is powered by an A9 processor paired with M9 co-processor. The iPhone SE also supports always-on ‘Hey Siri’ feature. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE and Bluetooth 4.2. It runs iOS 9.3 out of the box.
