Masaya Nakamura, Father of Pac-Man, Dies at 91

​Bandai Namco Holdings Japanese toy and game software company declared on Monday that its founder Masaya Nakamura  has died at the age of 91, he was well known for his invention of famous arcade game PAC-MAN for which he was known as “Father of PAC-MAN”

Nakamura died on January 22, after serving for the company as a top advisory. However the cause of his death is still unknown.


PAC-MAN, an addictive monster-eating game, went on sale in 1980 which was a big hit in Japan and internationally which got the game to Guinness Book of World Records to name it as the world’s most successful arcade game at the time.
