Nokia today finally made its comeback to the smartphone market. The company unveiled as many as four new smartphones at MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. HMD Global, the company that has exclusive license to manufacture ‘Nokia’ branded devices, launched Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and global variant of its earlier launched Nokia 6 smartphone. All the four smartphones run on Android operating system. The company also launched an upgraded version of its popular handset Nokia 3310.
The new Nokia smartphones offer pure Android OS experience and come with Google Assistant built-in.
- The Nokia 6 starts at EUR229 (roughly Rs 16,100). Its special edition costs EUR299 (roughly Rs 21,000). The Nokia 5 has been priced at EUR189 (roughly Rs 13,300)
- The Nokia 3 sports a price tag of EUR139 (roughly Rs 9,700).
- The new Nokia 3310 has been priced at EUR49, which is roughly Rs 3,400.
All the devices will hit the retail shelves in Q2 of this year.
The Nokia 3310 runs Series 30+ and features a 2.4-inch QVGA display. There will also be a 2MP camera along with a microSD card slot. The feature phone is said to offer 22 hours talk time and one-month standby time. The device also includes the popular Snake game, upgraded version.

The Nokia 6 by HMD Global supports dual-SIM cards. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display with 2.5D curved glass coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB LPDDR3 RAM. On the storage front, the Nokia 6 comes with an inbuilt 64GB storage, which can expanded via a microSD card up to 128GB.
The Nokia 5 has a 5.2-inch display and sports a 6000-series Aluminium built. It will come in four colour variants – Tempered Blue, Copper, Black and Silver. The smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt. Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 will be powering the smartphone. The Android 7.1 Nougat-based handset has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.

The Nokia 3 smartphone flaunts a 5.0-inch HD (720 pixel) IPS LCD display with 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass material. The Nokia 3 runs on MediaTek quad-core 1.3GHz processor. The smartphone runs on 2GB of RAM with 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. In the photography department, the smartphone sports a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel selfie camera up front. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. On the software front, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Nokia 3 will be available in Silver White, Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Copper White color options
