Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge got Android 7.0 Nougat | Full list of Samsung phones

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has started rolling out the much-awaited Android Nougat update for few of its latest series of phone

Owners of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge can update to Nougat from today, by navigating to About Phone and System Updates in the Settings menu.

Samsung has announced Android 7.0 Nougat update will be hitting the below mentioned devices and few more is expected in the coming weeks.

However there is no confirmation yet on the date on when these updates are going to roll out. We expect this to be rolled out based on the regions and further it will circulate to later part of the users.

Here’s the full list of Samsung phone getting Nougat update:

  • Galaxy S6
  • Galaxy S6 Edge
  • Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
  • Galaxy Note 5
  • Galaxy Tab A with S Pen
  • Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock)
  • Galaxy A3
  • Galaxy A8

Reports suggest that Samsung has also added an improvised the multi-window support on its Android Nougat update. The new pop-up window function introduced by Samsung supports up to five separate windows in addition to the two in the split-screen view.
