The mailing list newsletter of Turing Robotic Industries from CEO Steve Chao announced a new phone as part of The Outer Blueprint, a program by TRI to integrate artificial intelligence into smartphones.
TRI will release a device called the Turing Phone Cadenza with unbelievable specification of 5.8-inch full HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, dual Snapdragon 830s (yes, not one, but two processors that haven’t even been announced) and 12 GB RAM. It offers 1 TB of internal storage, 256 GB expandable storage via a micro SD card, a 20 megapixel rear, 60 megapixel front facing camera with an unbelievable 100Wh battery with graphene and hydrogen fuel cells (lolwut).
Like you I thought Turing Phone Cadenza was a prank or parody since Turing social media pages doesn’t discuss anything like this, but everything points to this being legitimately from Turing.
Will Turing Phone Cadenza will become a reality in early 2017, at this time we just have to wait and expect to shed a fortune for this rocket-ship of a smartphone.
